Hello,
Today we used a software called Prezi which is another way of presenting instead of power point it was easy to use, but it was a little bit more complicated than power point, but once you got used to it, it was easy to use. I swapped my presentation over from power point, so I changed all my information over from the power point and did it on Prezi. I think it will change the way I do presentations in the future and help me to achieve the higher grades I would like. There are some advantages to using power point because I think that you could put more information on a power point presentation but Prezi makes your presentation more interactive and keeps them engaged more.

News Package - Practical Work
Hello,
We did the vox pops for our actual news package, I had to go out and collect responses from the public asking questions which relate to my news package. The questions I asked were:
The galleries of justice had had £million spent on it is this money well spent, a good investment for Nottingham?
Is it important that we keep our heritage or should we stop living in the past?
What sort of facilities would expect from a place which has had funding?
Our group was starting to find in difficult to collect our vox pops as the weather was against us and we were starting to find it quite difficult, and some of us were starting to get annoyed so were hopeing to go out and do it again.

News Package - Survey Responses
I got lots of re-occurring answers and they tended to put very basic information and simple answers like “yes” and “no”, and never went into detail.
I didn’t find anything surprising in my answers, because I knew some people would not take my survey seriously and have just responded as a joke.
My first question I asked “What sort of facilities would you expect from a national lottery funded project?” – I was going to see what people thought the money should be spent on and what they would like the money to be spent on. One response said “modern and up to date”.
My second question I asked was “How long would a news package need to be to keep you interested?”- I wanted to see how long I should keep my interview and vox pops so people would not get bored I just got answers like “3 mins, 5 mins, and 10 seconds”.
My third question I asked was "What kind of information would you like to know about the funding? e.g. Wheres the money going?" - I asked this question to see what people would actually like to know about the money and what actually happens because sometimes people wonder about where and what happens the the money. I got responses like "basic information" and the same question as the example.
The fourth question I asked was "Would you prefer visuals to help you in a news package?" - I asked this question to see if some people would like to see the information instead of me or someone just saying it out loud. I maybe should have reworded the question as I just got one word answers like "yes" and "no".
My final question I asked was "Would you know visit a place which has had funding and if so why not before?" - I asked this question to see if people would actually visit a place which has had funding what might mean for companies which get funding. The responses I got were basic answers like "Yes because I like to see where the money was invested" and just "No".
This information will help my news package because it will tell me what people may want to hear about and what kind of information they and the style people would like my news package to be.The elements I would change would be the wording of the question and some of the words as some people may not understand what the would means or never have heard that word before.
